About this Image

Image of the Omega Nebula (M17) obtained during commissioning of the GBT. The image was taken in an on-the-fly observing mode with the DCR continuum backend and was reduced with AIPS++. Little image precessing has been done on the data; a simple linear baseline was subtracted from each scan.
